My summer holidays 2008

My summer holidays 2008 were very funny. I had just finished school  when I went to Morocco with my brother Mohamed.

First, we went to Tanger, I went to see my cousin. Actually, those days were super with her. We went to the most famous beach in Tanger “beach chica”. In the evening we had a party and my brother and I stayed there. Then, my cousin and some friends came and there were many people attending.

The next day we decided to go to Meknes which is the city where I grew up. On the road we found a restaurant where I like to eat cus-cus. We ate there and then we went go to Meknes. When we reached my house my family was there, my brother and me were very happy. We were very tired, that day we had traveled for six hours! I slept all night and in the morning we had breakfast and we went shopping. We bought many typical things from Morocco: jelaba, tagine, tea pots, etc. There were very nice people who helped you with everything you needed without any problem.

I saw a gold neck lace and I thought if I had 500 euros I would buy it because it was beautiful. After I bought a scarf for my mother and my brother decided to buy something for my father not to be jealous of my mother :).

My friends invited me to have dinner at their house which was beautiful and there were many ornaments. I ate all and had a great time with them. We danced belly dance and we drank tea. At that moment I thought if my best friend had been with me, it would have been better.

After dinner my brother came to pick me up because my family was waiting for me to go to Nador, my hometown. I packed up and we went to together. In the way we met our old school friends we said hello, chatted a bit and we went away.

After we headed back to Nador, the trip was unforgettable because I was with people I love: with my grandmother, my uncles and aunts and my brother. We went to many beaches, we visited many places, we did many things and I had a great time.

After a week we returned to Spain. I was very sad because I wanted to stay a few more days.

To conclude I can only say that I want to go there again.

My favourite band

Hi friends!

I´m sending you a photo of my favourite band, 4Minute. It´s a k-pop girl group. The group has got five members, JiYoon, GaYoon, SoHyun, Hyun Ah and JiHyun. I think they´re really good. In the group all sing and dance.

JiYoon is on the left in the photo. She´s wearing a grey dress- I love her fair hair. She not only sings, but she also raps. She´s twenty years old and her hobbies are cooking and songwriting.

GaYoon is next to JiYoon in the photo. She´s wearing a white dress and brown boots. She´s twenty and her hobby is watching movies.
SoHyun is in the middle. She´s wearing a white dress. She´s sixteen and
her hobby is swimming.

Hyun Ah is next to SoHyun. She raps too. She´s wearing a grey dress.
She´s eighteen and her hobbies are cooking and watching movies.

JiHyun is on the right. She is the leader of the band. She´s wearing a white dress and a white boots. She´s twenty and her hobby is dancing.

When they release a new album, they usually change their style.

Send me a picture of your favourite band!

Love,

Heba.

Pyramid of hate and discrimination

Have you ever heard a joke about muslims, women, latins, gypsies, black people or homosexuals? Are these jokes funny?

Look, this pyramid shows how far these jokes can reach:

Can you identify the different steps on the pyramid in the following video?

Gender roles

Do you agree with these roles?

Do education, art and media have something to do about our way of seeing ourselves?
